Compact 1U Rackmount NAS for Edge Deployments
The Synology RS826RP+ is a compact 1U rackmount NAS built for edge deployments, branch offices and remote business workloads. It arrives fully assembled and tested with 16GB DDR4 RAM and four 16TB Synology Plus drives installed. The quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor runs at 2.2 GHz.
Four-Bay Hot-Swappable Drive Configuration
Four hot-swappable bays accept compatible 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs for flexible storage configurations. The system includes 64TB raw capacity from the factory-installed drives. One Synology RX426 expansion unit can be connected to double the bay count.
Up to 192TB Raw Capacity with Expansion
With the RX426 expansion unit the system scales to eight bays and up to 192TB raw capacity using supported 24TB drives. A PCIe Gen3 slot allows 10GbE or 25GbE adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter or a combined M.2 and 10GbE adapter. Compatible SSDs can be added for caching to boost IOPS in HDD arrays.
