This NEMIX RAM kit provides 1 TB of DDR5 server memory across eight 128 GB registered DIMMs. Each module runs at 6400 MT/s with a CAS latency of 52 and operates at 1.1 V. The 2Rx4 organisation and on-die ECC suit multi-socket platforms that require registered, error-correcting memory. It is not compatible with standard desktop or laptop motherboards.

Replacing slower or smaller registered DDR5

The kit upgrades systems currently populated with lower-capacity or lower-speed registered DDR5 DIMMs. The jump is worthwhile when the workload needs the full 1 TB aggregate capacity or the 6400 MT/s data rate to reduce latency-bound stalls.
