M.2 B-Key to SATA Adapter Card

The Syba SI-ADA40083 converts a M.2 B-key module into a standard 2.5-inch SATA drive. It mounts in a PCI slot bracket and connects to a motherboard SATA port. No driver installation is required and the card supports system boot. Both full-height and low-profile brackets are included.

Suits SATA M.2 modules only

This card works with M.2 B-key SSDs that use the SATA protocol in 2230, 2242 or 2260 lengths. Builders who need to install a 2.5-inch drive in a system with only M.2 slots cannot use this adapter. It also does not support M-key modules or longer 2280 cards. The package supplies mounting screws and both bracket sizes for flexible case fit.

M.2 B-key requirement

The single specification that decides compatibility is the M.2 B-key interface. Only B-key SATA modules in the three supported lengths will function. Any other keying or protocol will not work with this card.
