The Creality K2 Combo uses fused deposition modeling with a dual-gear direct drive extruder and a build volume of 260 x 260 x 260 mm. It ships with one Creality Filament System unit for multicolor and multi-material printing, expandable to four units for up to 16 colors in a single print. Step-servo motors on the XY axes and extruder deliver a maximum printing speed of 600 mm/s and acceleration of 20000 mm/s².

This printer replaces single-extruder systems that require manual filament swaps for color changes. The integrated CFS automates filament switching, making the jump worthwhile for users printing multi-color models or combining materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, PLA-CF and PET-CF.
