HPE DL380 Gen9 4LFF dual Xeon server

This HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 rack server ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2687W v4 processors running at 3.0 GHz, each providing 12 cores and 30 MB cache. The system includes 512 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory and an HPE Smart Array P440 SAS controller. It is built for organisations that need a dense 4-bay 3.5-inch chassis with high core counts and large memory capacity.

Four 3.5-inch drive bays with SAS and SATA support

The 4LFF chassis accepts up to four 3.5-inch drives using SATA or SAS interfaces through the P440 controller. No drives are installed, so storage capacity and RAID level must be chosen separately. The two 500 W Flex Slot power supplies provide redundancy for the configured components. Network connectivity is supplied by a 1 Gb two-port 332T adapter.

Tool-less rails and iLO simplify deployment

The server supports tool-less rail mounting in standard racks, and HPE iLO Advanced remote management allows firmware updates and health monitoring before the operating system loads. Memory population rules for the 512 GB configuration must be followed to avoid boot failures. Drive caddies are required for any 3.5-inch drives and are not included.
