- Bidirectional CAN FD to RS232/RS485 conversion
- Arbitration baud rate 5 Kbps to 1 Mbps
- Data domain baud rate 100 Kbps to 5 Mbps
- Five selectable conversion modes including Modbus
- 32 configurable frame filters with host-computer setup
CAN FD to serial converter board
The LORDWORLD board converts CAN FD frames to RS232 or RS485 and back again, making it a bridge for developers who need to connect CAN FD networks with legacy serial equipment. It suits engineers building diagnostics tools, industrial gateways or test rigs that must translate between the two domains.
Baud-rate range decides fit
The arbitration domain runs from 5 Kbps to 1 Mbps while the data domain spans 100 Kbps to 5 Mbps, so the part only works when your CAN FD bus stays inside those limits. It also handles CAN 2.0A and 2.0B frames, but any bus faster than 5 Mbps in the data phase is outside specification.
USB host software configures filters
Parameters are set from a host computer over USB, where you choose among transparent, ID-tagged, standard or Modbus conversion modes and define up to 32 filter sets for standard or extended IDs. No on-board switches or jumpers exist, so a laptop is required for first-time setup and any later changes.

คำถามเกี่ยวกับสินค้านี้
What does the 5 Mbps data-domain rate mean when the board is running in a live CAN FD bus?
It sets the maximum bit-rate for the data phase of each CAN FD frame, so payloads move up to 5 Mbps while arbitration stays at 1 Mbps.
How do the RS232 and RS485 interfaces limit throughput in practice?
The converter bridges CAN FD to either RS232 or RS485, so serial line speed and protocol overhead become the effective ceiling.
What physical connections does the development board need to sit in a test rig?
It requires a CAN bus connector plus either an RS232 or RS485 port, all wired to the on-board transceiver headers.
