256GB DDR5 ECC RDIMM kit for Thinkmate servers

This 256GB kit contains sixteen 16GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMMs built with ECC for Thinkmate TWX-QS8-14E4 and TWX-QS8-24E4 tower servers. The modules run at 1.1V with CL40 latency and use a 1Rx8 organisation on major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips. It targets administrators who need maximum registered capacity in these qualified platforms.

Replaces lower-capacity or slower DDR5 RDIMMs

The upgrade is worthwhile when the workload exceeds the current memory ceiling or when error correction is absent. Moving from smaller registered kits or non-ECC memory adds both capacity and data integrity for virtualisation, database or compute tasks. Systems already populated with 4800 CL40 RDIMMs gain no latency improvement from this kit.

Sustained-load behaviour with registered ECC

Registered buffering and on-die ECC keep signal integrity stable during continuous multi-threaded operation. The 1.1V operating point limits thermal pressure across all sixteen slots. Without a heat spreader, airflow through the server chassis remains the primary cooling path for extended duty cycles.
