This module delivers 128 GB of DDR4 ECC Load-Reduced memory in a single 288-pin DIMM. It is built for the HP SimpliVity 325 Gen10 and other server, workstation or NAS platforms that require registered LRDIMM technology. Standard desktop boards cannot use it.

Capacity and headroom

The 128 GB stick runs at 2933 MT/s with CL21 latency and 1.2 V power draw, and it is backward compatible with 2133, 2400 and 2666 MT/s buses. It fills one slot with maximum density, so total system memory scales with the number of populated sockets. It will not operate in channels that demand unbuffered or standard registered DIMMs.

Build and connectors

The module uses a 288-pin DDR4 interface without a heat spreader, relying on chassis airflow for cooling. Load-Reduced architecture reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing higher capacities per channel.
