This vertical adapter lets a desktop PC use a standard M.2 M-Key NVMe SSD in any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot. The card itself is a simple transfer board with no additional components included. The board provides a functional connection but cannot deliver full NVMe performance.

A vertical mounting orientation keeps the SSD upright, which can help in tight chassis layouts where horizontal clearance is limited.
