300GB 15K SAS pair with H730 headroom

Two 300GB 15K 6Gbps SAS drives give fast spindle performance for OS and active data. The H730 1GB 12Gbps controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across up to eight 3.5" hot-plug bays. Installed 16GB DDR4 uses two of twelve DIMM slots; the platform accepts up to 384GB when a second processor is added.

Expansion space and connectivity

Five PCIe slots — three 3.0 and two 2.0 — accommodate HBAs, NICs or GPU accelerators. A four-port 1GbE daughter card handles baseline networking. Matrox G200eR2 video covers console access.
