Dual 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies provide N+1 redundancy with hot-swap replacement. The 2U chassis uses forced-air cooling across the CPUs, memory risers and eight 2.5-inch drive bays. Acoustic output scales with inlet temperature and workload; under typical data-centre conditions the system remains within Dell’s specified thermal envelope for continuous operation.

H730P RAID, quad-port networking

The PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode across the eight installed 2.4 TB 10K SAS drives.
