The ESTONE PCIE24A3C3.2 adds seven USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports to a desktop PC through a single PCI Express slot. It provides three USB Type-C and four USB Type-A connectors, each running at up to 10 Gbps. The card is aimed at users who need more high-speed ports for external drives, peripherals or data-intensive workflows.

Driver-First Installation

The card fits a PCI Express x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and draws power from the slot itself, so no external power cable is required. Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Server 2008 and XP need the Renesas/VLI driver from the included CD or a download; Windows 10, 11 and macOS 10.8.2 or later work without extra drivers. A common issue is forgetting to install the driver on older Windows versions, which leaves the ports invisible to the system.

Bandwidth and Protocol Limits

All seven ports share the bandwidth of the single PCI Express lane, so simultaneous transfers on multiple devices will not reach the per-port 10 Gbps maximum. The card carries only USB data signals; it does not support video output, Thunderbolt protocol or monitor connections. Actual speeds are also limited by the connected device and cable quality.
