256GB DDR5 ECC RDIMM kit for Supermicro H14DST-FL

This 256GB kit contains eight 32GB DDR5 4800 RDIMMs built to the exact rank, voltage and timing the Supermicro H14DST-FL memory controller expects. Registered ECC architecture allows every slot to run fully populated at rated speed while correcting single-bit errors on the fly. It is not suited for workstations that require unbuffered UDIMMs or for systems limited to lower maximum capacities.

Capacity and headroom

Eight 2Rx8 modules deliver 256GB total capacity at DDR5 4800 (PC5 38400) with CL40 latency and 1.10V operation. Full population is supported by the registered design, so the board can address the complete kit without downclocking. Headroom ends at the motherboard's qualified maximum; configurations needing more memory or faster speeds than the platform validates cannot use this kit.

Thermals, noise and power

Modules operate at the standard DDR5 1.1V without heat spreaders, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. Power draw scales with all eight slots active, but registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller. No fans or moving parts are present, so the kit adds no acoustic noise beyond the system's existing cooling.
