RAID 0, RAID 1 and JBOD modes

A hardware controller lets you configure the two bays as a striped RAID 0 array, a mirrored RAID 1 array with automatic rebuild, or as independent JBOD volumes. SATA III drives run at up to 6 Gbps internally while the USB 3.0 link reaches 5 Gbps with UASP support. Each bay accepts drives larger than 2 TB.

Fits into a USB 3.0 workflow
