This 256GB kit contains four 64GB DDR4 2666 modules built as ECC Load Reduced DIMMs. It targets servers and workstations that require registered memory with error correction and rank multiplication for high-density configurations. Desktop and laptop systems cannot use these modules.

Upgrading from lower-capacity or non-LRDIMM DDR4

Replacing standard RDIMMs or smaller LRDIMMs with this quad-rank kit increases total addressable memory per channel without exceeding the platform's rank limit.
