The LRDIMM form factor fits standard DDR4 server slots but requires motherboard support for load-reduced operation; mixing with RDIMM or UDIMM is not supported. Handle modules by the edges and seat firmly until the ejector clips latch to ensure reliable contact in vibration-prone rack environments.
