The ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE is a CEB form-factor motherboard built around the Intel W790 chipset and LGA 4677 socket. Seven PCIe 5.0 x16 Slots and Dual 10G LAN

With a Xeon W-3400 CPU the board exposes seven PCIe 5.0 x16 slots running at x16/x16/x16/x16/x16/x8/x16, while a W-2400 CPU provides four full x16 links. Two M.2 sockets connect through the CPU at PCIe 5.0 x4 and a third runs from the chipset at PCIe 4.0 x4. Eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and dual Intel 10Gb Ethernet plus a 1Gb port complete the I/O.

14+1+1 DrMOS Stages and IPMI Remote Management

A 14+1+1 DrMOS power design with 8-pin and 6-pin auxiliary connectors feeds the CPU, while large VRM, chipset and M.2 heatsinks handle thermals. The ASMedia AST2600 BMC provides a dedicated IPMI LAN port for out-of-band management via ASUS Control Center Express.
