Straightforward Installation With Population Rules

Install by powering down, opening the chassis and seating each 240-pin DIMM until the ejectors click. The system requires identical modules within each bank; mixing registered and unbuffered ECC is not supported. Quad-rank modules in the second bank will drop to 800 MHz, so follow the vendor's triple-channel "K3" population guide for best performance.
