Purpose and fit
This adapter lets you install an M.2 Key E module into a full-size or half-size Mini PCIe slot on a laptop or desktop motherboard. Upgrade path
It replaces a direct M.2 Key E slot when the platform lacks one, allowing reuse of existing M.2 3030 or 3042 cards.
