Corn Electronics NVMe adapter with heat sink
This Corn Electronics add-on card converts a PCIe x16 slot into a single M.2 Key-M connector for NVMe or AHCI solid-state drives. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors and operates at PCIe 3.0 x4 bandwidth up to 32 Gbps without requiring any driver installation.
Fits a PCIe x16 slot and frees an M.2 socket
The adapter installs directly into a full-length PCIe x16 slot and is not compatible with x1, x4 or x8 slots. An included aluminium heat sink dissipates heat from the mounted drive, while the plug-and-play design leaves the motherboard M.2 socket available for another device or absent entirely.
Suits builders adding NVMe storage to boards
This card serves users who need to add a Key-M NVMe or AHCI drive to a system lacking a compatible M.2 slot. It does not support SATA-based M.2 Key-B or Key-B/M drives, and it cannot be used in PCIe x1, x4 or x8 slots.
