Built for dense compute clusters

This 1U rack server ships with dual Xeon E5-2603v3 six-core processors at 1.6GHz and 32GB of DDR4 memory across twelve DIMM slots. Three 600GB 15K SAS drives connect to a Perc H330 controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. Four 1GbE ports and two PCIe 3.0 slots handle networking and expansion. The system is new and includes a DVD drive and power cable.

Sustained load on dual six-core Xeons

Both CPUs share the C610 chipset and six memory channels each, so throughput scales with all twelve cores active. The 15K SAS spindle speed keeps random I/O latency low during long database scans, while the H330 write-back cache absorbs burst writes without throttling. A single 550W redundant supply maintains output under continuous draw, and iDRAC8 remote management lets you monitor thermals without a local console.

Check drive count, memory ceiling and rail kit

Only three of eight 2.5-inch hot-plug bays are populated, leaving five empty trays for additional SAS or SATA drives. The installed 32GB already reaches the processor-limited maximum of 32GB, so no further memory upgrades are possible on this configuration. Rail kit, bezel, keyboard, mouse and video cable are not included; verify rack depth and mounting hardware before ordering.
