It ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 2.1 GHz 8-core processors and 64 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz registered ECC memory. The chassis provides eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drive trays without installed drives. Dual 750 W platinum power supplies and a front bezel are included.

Sustained load with dual CPUs and RAID controller

Under continuous demand the twin 8-core Xeons can reach 3.0 GHz turbo while the PERC H730 1 GB controller manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with battery-backed cache. The Intel C610 chipset and twelve memory slots allow expansion to 384 GB DDR4. Integrated Broadcom 5720 dual-port 1 GbE and iDRAC 8 Express give steady remote management and network throughput during long-running tasks.
