The Dynatron K17 is a 92 mm tower-style air cooler that uses four U-shape heat pipes with H.C.C. technology to move heat from the CPU into an aluminium fin stack. A double-ball bearing fan spins between 1000 and 2500 RPM depending on PWM duty cycle. The unit stands 110 mm tall and weighs 530 g.

Suitable for LGA 1150/1155/1156 CPUs up to 105 W TDP

This cooler fits Intel sockets LGA 1150, 1155 and 1156 and is rated for processors drawing up to 105 watts, covering the listed Core i3, i5, i7, Pentium and Xeon E3 models. Builders using newer socket types, higher TDP chips, or cases with less than 110 mm of cooler clearance should look at other solutions.

The single specification that decides fitment is the 105 W thermal design power limit; if the target CPU exceeds this figure the cooler cannot guarantee adequate thermal performance.
