The card targets builders who need more high-speed ports for external drives, cameras or peripherals without occupying drive bays. It does not suit systems that lack a free PCIe x1 or larger slot.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The card draws power directly from the PCIe bus so no external power cable is required. Each USB-C port can deliver up to 30W for charging phones, tablets or laptops while each USB-A port supplies up to 7.5W under the BC 1.2 scheme. An onboard over-current protection chip and IEC 61000-4-2 ESD compliance help protect the host and attached devices during hot-plug events. The low-profile bracket fits standard and slim chassis alike.

Driver disc and bandwidth sharing
