What this power supply delivers

The GIGABYTE GP-AP750GM is a 750 W ATX 12V v2.31 unit built for mid-range and high-end desktop builds. A single +12V rail provides 62 A for stable GPU and CPU power. Full modular cabling lets you connect only the 20+4-pin, two 4+4-pin CPU, four 6+2-pin PCIe, six SATA, five peripheral and two floppy leads you need. Japanese capacitors and a 100 000-hour MTBF rating back long-term reliability.

Sustained load behaviour

At typical load the unit reaches 90 % efficiency, meeting 80 PLUS Gold requirements. Hold-up time exceeds 16 ms at full load on 115 V input, giving the system a brief ride-through during mains dips. Power good signal arrives within 100 to 500 ms after switch-on. Protections include OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP, OCP and OTP to shut down safely if voltage, current or temperature exceed safe limits.

Thermals noise and power draw

A 135 mm double ball-bearing fan spins only when needed thanks to a fan-stop function, keeping idle noise near zero. Under load the fan ramps to maintain component temperatures within spec while drawing 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. Active PFC corrects the input current to 12 A at low line and 6 A at high line, reducing reactive power and heat inside the 160 mm deep chassis.
