The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays and ships with 256GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory already populated. Verify rack depth and power infrastructure

The unit measures 36 inches deep and weighs 40 units, so confirm your rack can accommodate that length and load. Two 500W Flex Slot power supplies are installed; ensure your PDU connectors and circuit capacity match. Network connectivity includes two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports via an Intel I350/X540 adapter, so check switch port availability and cabling type.

P440 controller and iLO Advanced enable storage

The Smart Array P440 SAS controller provides hardware RAID for the eight SFF bays, letting you configure redundancy or performance tiers once drives are added. HPE iLO Advanced remote management is included, giving full out-of-band control, virtual media and health monitoring without an operating system. No drives or rail kit ship by default; both are available on request.
