Rack-mount installation and common pitfalls

The 2U rack form factor slides into standard 19-inch cabinets using optional rail kits. Two 500W flex-slot power supplies are pre-installed for redundancy. Verify that your rack depth accommodates the 36-inch chassis length and that the 40-pound weight is within the rack’s load rating. Drive caddies for the eight front bays are not included and must be sourced separately.
