3U Rackmount Chassis for ATX Boards
The iStarUSA D Storm D-300SEA-RD is a 3U rackmount server chassis built from aluminum and steel with a black finish and red aluminum bezel. It accepts ATX and microATX motherboards up to 12 x 9.6 inches and provides seven expansion slots for add-in cards. A front bezel key lock adds physical security for shared rack environments.
Four 5.25-Inch Bays Plus Internal Storage
Four external 5.25-inch bays and two external 3.5-inch bays give ample room for optical drives, hot-swap cages or front-access storage. A single internal 3.5-inch bay holds a fixed drive. Builds needing more than three total 3.5-inch drives or any 2.5-inch mounts will require adapters or a different chassis.
Single 60mm Fan With Sensor-Dependent Alerts
Cooling relies on one 60mm fan; the front panel shows power, HDD, temperature and fan status lights, but temperature and fan alarms only function when the optional TC-ISF08 sensor board is installed. The chassis supports 1U or 2U power supplies. Front I/O is limited to two USB 2.0 ports with no USB 3.0 or audio headers.
