What the JONSBO VC20 is and who it is for

The JONSBO VC20 is a compact GPU brace designed to support heavy graphics cards and prevent PCB sag. It suits builders installing large video cards in standard cases where the rear bracket alone cannot keep the board level. The anodised aluminium body adds rigidity without occupying expansion slots. It is not for systems that rely on a back-plate or vertical mounting bracket for primary support.

Height range and mounting limits

The brace adjusts from 74 mm to 120 mm via a telescopic screw, covering most mid-tower clearances between the graphics card and the case floor or PSU shroud. Magnetic ends with silicone pads grip the card and the mounting surface without tools, but they require a flat ferrous area or a steel panel to hold securely. Cases with non-magnetic floors or unusually tall CPU coolers may leave the brace too short or too long.

Capacity and headroom

At 36 g the brace adds negligible weight while resisting the downward force of modern triple-slot cards. The 15 mm square cross-section fits between tightly spaced components and cable runs. It comfortably holds cards up to the length where the PCB meets the rear bracket; beyond that the lever arm exceeds the magnetic grip and the brace can detach.
