This 1.1TB kit is built for the Supermicro H13SSF motherboard. It contains twelve 96GB DDR5 RDIMM modules that the board recognises at full capacity and rated speed. System administrators expanding memory in this specific platform use it to reach the board's supported limit. Builders working with any other motherboard or form factor cannot use these modules.

Registered ECC RDIMM at 4800MHz

The single specification that decides fitment is the 288-pin registered ECC RDIMM form factor running at DDR5-4800 with CL40 latency and 1.10V operation. The Supermicro H13SSF requires this exact registered architecture; unbuffered UDIMMs or SODIMMs will not post. Population rules in the board manual must be followed for all twelve slots to train correctly.

1.1TB capacity for dense workloads

Twelve ranks of 2Rx4 organisation give 1.1TB of addressable memory, enough for large in-memory databases, virtualisation hosts and HPC datasets. Full-speed operation holds across all populated channels when the board's memory controller is configured per the vendor guide. Workloads that exceed this capacity or need faster than 4800MT/s transfer rates will require a different platform.
