ThinkMate-validated DDR4 ECC RDIMM kit

This 1 TB kit comprises eight 128 GB DDR4 3200 registered DIMMs built for ThinkMate VSX-R5-760S1 and VSX-R5-540RTP workstations. Each module runs at 1.2 V with CL22 latency and 4Rx4 organisation. ECC and registered buffering protect data integrity in multi-socket server workloads.

288-pin RDIMM form factor with major-brand DRAM

Modules use Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips without heat spreaders, fitting standard DDR4 RDIMM slots. Registered signalling reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing all eight slots to be populated. The 1.2 V operating voltage matches DDR4 JEDEC baseline for server platforms.

Replaces smaller or slower DDR4 RDIMM sets

Upgrading from lower-capacity or lower-speed registered ECC kits adds 1 TB in a single validated configuration. The jump is worthwhile when workloads exceed current memory bandwidth or capacity limits on compatible ThinkMate systems. Mixed-rank or unbuffered modules are not supported by these platforms.
