Mid-tower case with tempered glass

The NZXT CM-H92FB-P1 is a black mid-tower chassis built from tinted tempered glass on two sides. It supports ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and includes seven expansion slots for add-in cards. The case comes with seven pre-installed fans: three 140 mm units at the bottom, three 140 mm units on the side and one 120 mm unit at the rear.

Upgrade from smaller chassis

Builders moving from a compact case gain room for graphics cards up to 459 mm long when using fans under 56 mm thick at the front-right, or 410 mm with a 420 mm radiator and 56 mm fans installed there. The 165 mm CPU cooler clearance and 200 mm power supply limit also exceed many entry-level enclosures, making the jump worthwhile for high-end air or liquid cooling.

Limits of the ATX form factor

The ATX layout caps internal 3.5-inch drive bays at two and 2.5-inch bays at six, restricting bulk storage expansion. Seven expansion slots bound the number of full-height cards, while the 19.9 by 12.4 by 18.9 inch footprint demands adequate desk or floor space. Fan mounts top out at three 120 mm or three 140 mm positions on the top and bottom, defining the maximum airflow configuration.
