Server-grade ECC LRDIMM kit

This OWC kit provides 128GB of DDR4 memory in two 64GB modules rated at 2933MHz with CL21 latency. It uses load-reduced ECC technology designed for servers, workstations and NAS systems. The modules operate at 1.2V and conform to JEDEC standard specifications. They are not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.

Sustained-load behaviour

Load-reduced architecture reduces electrical load on the memory controller, helping maintain signal integrity when all slots are populated under continuous demand. ECC circuitry detects and corrects single-bit errors during extended operation, protecting data integrity in critical workloads. The dual-channel kit supports backward compatibility with 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz platforms.

Pre-order checks

Verify that your motherboard and CPU support DDR4 ECC LRDIMM modules and 4Rx4 rank configuration. Confirm the platform accepts 288-pin load-reduced DIMMs and can utilise the full 128GB capacity across two channels. Ensure you are not mixing these modules with unbuffered or non-ECC memory, as this will prevent boot or cause instability.
