Server ECC RDIMM kit

This kit provides one terabyte of DDR4 ECC Registered memory across four 256 GB modules. It is designed for Supermicro motherboards including the H12DSG-O-CPU, H12DST-B, H12DSU-iN, H11DSI-NT and H11DST-B. The modules run at 3200 MT/s with CL22 latency and operate at 1.2 V. They are not compatible with standard desktop computers or with unbuffered or load-reduced memory types.

Simple DIMM installation

Each 288-pin RDIMM seats in a standard DDR4 server slot and requires no tools beyond opening the chassis. The main risk is mixing these octal-rank registered modules with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs, which prevents the system from posting. All four sticks should be identical in capacity, speed and manufacturer to avoid timing conflicts. OWC tests every module in-house to reduce the chance of a defective unit.

Verify motherboard and memory type

Confirm that your Supermicro board is one of the five listed models before ordering. Check that the existing memory population uses registered ECC DDR4 and that no unbuffered or load-reduced modules are installed. Ensure enough free DIMM slots exist for all four modules and that the platform supports 256 GB per slot at 3200 MT/s.
