The SongryVGA R5 230 is a low profile graphics card built for small form factor PCs, thin ITX systems and HTPC cases. It fits into tight chassis where full height cards cannot be installed. The Radeon chipset delivers basic display output for office work, media playback and dual monitor setups. No external power connector is required for operation.

PCIe 2.0 x16 Interface and Dual HDMI 1.4

The card connects through a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot and draws up to 20W from the motherboard. A 200W power supply is sufficient for the entire system. Two HDMI 1.4 ports drive two 1080p displays simultaneously without adapters. A full height bracket is included in the box for standard ATX cases. Driver support covers Windows 10 and Linux; Windows 11 is not supported.

2GB GDDR3 Memory on a 64 Bit Bus

The 2GB GDDR3 frame buffer runs on a 64 bit interface with an effective clock of 533 MHz. This capacity handles desktop composition, video decode and light multitasking at 1920 x 1080 resolution. The 650 MHz core clock and DirectX 12 feature level cover legacy titles and older applications. Modern 3D workloads and higher resolutions will exceed the available memory bandwidth and shader performance.
