The Supermicro SYS-6018U-TR4T+ is a 1U rackmount server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors. Each CPU runs at 2.0 GHz with 14 cores and reaches 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 64 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across four modules. LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i Controller Limits

Storage is managed by an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with eight ports of SAS 12 Gb/s connectivity and 1 GB cache backed by a battery. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 levels. Only four 3.5-inch hot-plug drive bays are provided, so the eight-port controller cannot be fully populated with internal drives. No solid-state drives are installed and the front bezel plus rack rails are not included.

Quad 10GBase-T Ports Decide Fit

Network connectivity comes from a Supermicro AOC-UR-i4XT add-on card based on the Intel X540 controller, delivering four RJ45 10GBase-T ports. A dedicated RJ45 IPMI 2.0 port enables remote KVM-over-LAN and virtual media management. Redundant 750 W platinum power supplies handle the dual-CPU load. Buyers needing more than four drive bays or fibre-channel networking will need a different chassis.
