The Supermicro SYS-6018U-TR4T+ is a 1U rackmount server built around two Intel Xeon E5-2699 v4 processors. Each CPU runs at 2.2 GHz with 22 cores and reaches 3.6 GHz turbo frequency. The system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory installed across 24 available DIMM slots. It targets virtualization, HPC and cloud workloads that demand high thread density in a single rack unit.

LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller

Storage is managed by an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i 8-port SAS 12 Gb/s PCIe RAID controller with 1 GB cache and battery backup. The board supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across four front-accessible 3.5-inch hot-plug SATA/SAS drive bays. No drives are included. The controller’s cache protection and broad RAID level support make it the decisive component for workloads that require data redundancy and sustained throughput.

Redundant 750 W platinum power

Two 750 watt platinum-efficiency hot-swap power supplies deliver N+1 redundancy for continuous operation. The 1U chassis uses advanced thermal management to maintain stable temperatures under sustained multi-core load. Quad 10GBase-T ports from the Intel X540 controller and a dedicated IPMI 2.0 LAN port with KVM-over-LAN ensure remote management and high-bandwidth connectivity remain available during extended duty cycles.
