This 2U rack system ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processors at 2.1 GHz and 256 GB of DDR4 ECC memory. Twelve front 3.5-inch hot-plug bays accept SATA or SAS drives, while an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller provides hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 1000 W redundant power supplies and IPMI 2.0 with dedicated LAN complete the platform.

Virtualisation hosts and storage clusters

The dual-socket design and 24 DIMM slots suit workloads that scale across many cores and large memory footprints, such as hypervisors, hyper-converged storage or database nodes. Four 10GBase-T ports and six full-height PCIe 3.0 slots give ample I/O headroom. Buyers needing GPU compute or front NVMe bays without extra cards should evaluate other chassis.

12-bay 3.5-inch hot-plug capacity

Twelve 3.5-inch trays set the raw storage ceiling and determine whether the chassis fits the intended disk count. No drives are included, so the buyer must supply SATA or SAS disks to populate the backplane.
