The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage system built for edge deployments, branch offices and remote business workloads. It uses a quad-core, eight-thread AMD Ryzen V1500B processor at 2.2 GHz and comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory. The unit includes four hot-swappable bays populated with four 20TB Synology Plus drives for 80TB of raw capacity, plus two 1.6TB enterprise cache SSDs for 3.2TB of read/write acceleration.

The chassis operates between 0 °C and 35 °C with humidity tolerance of 5 to 95 percent relative humidity. It draws power from a redundant 100 to 240 VAC supply at 50 or 60 Hz.
