The Zalman Cubix is a 17.1-litre steel enclosure that accepts Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX and DTX motherboards. Buyers who need room for multiple 3.5-inch drives or a second graphics card will find the internal layout too restrictive.

Drive Capacity And GPU Clearance

One internal 3.5-inch bay and one 2.5-inch bay provide enough space for a boot SSD plus a bulk storage drive, but no further expansion is possible. Graphics cards up to 260 mm in length fit comfortably, while longer models exceed the available depth and cannot be installed. CPU coolers are limited to 137 mm in height, so taller tower designs will not clear the side panel.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw

A pre-installed 80 mm rear fan exhausts heat through the perforated front panel, and an optional 120 mm front fan can be added for extra intake. The open front mesh keeps airflow paths short, so typical office or media workloads run cool with low acoustic output. Power draw is dictated solely by the chosen components, as the case includes no supply of its own.
