BIOS update and CPU cooler mounting

A BIOS update may be required before a 13th generation processor will boot. The board needs a dedicated LGA 1700 mounting bracket for the CPU cooler; verify your cooler includes one. Front-panel 7.1 surround sound needs a chassis with an HD audio module. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports and two M.2 Key M slots (2242, 2260, 2280) provide storage connections.

PCH heatsink, Fan Xpert 2+ and 5X Protection III

A PCH heatsink and Fan Xpert 2+ software manage system cooling. 5X Protection III bundles multiple hardware safeguards. Rear I/O includes DisplayPort, HDMI, D-Sub, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, Realtek 1 Gb Ethernet, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, and three audio jacks.
