The ASUS PRIME RX 9070 is a graphics card built for 1440p and 4K gaming. It uses the AMD RDNA 4 architecture with 3584 stream processors and a 20 Gbps effective memory clock. The 16GB GDDR6 frame buffer on a 256-bit interface feeds high-resolution textures. A PCI Express 5.0 x16 link connects the card to modern platforms.

16GB GDDR6 capacity and headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of GDDR6 memory give comfortable headroom for current 1440p ultra settings and most 4K titles. The 256-bit bus and 20 Gbps clock keep bandwidth high for ray-tracing workloads and large texture pools. Very heavy 4K ray-tracing or future titles with larger assets may start to pressure the 16GB buffer. The 220W thermal design power and 650W recommended PSU define the power envelope.

Display outputs comprise one HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1a connectors supporting up to 7680 x 4320 resolution. Four simultaneous monitors are supported for multi-display setups. The ATX form factor fits standard cases with 312 mm length and 2.5-slot width clearance.
