Creator AM4 platform
The ASUS ProArt B550-CREATOR is an ATX motherboard built for content creators who need an AMD AM4 socket with PCIe 4.0 support. It accepts Ryzen 5000 Series, 4000 G-Series and 3000 Series processors and provides four DDR4 slots for up to 128 GB of dual-channel memory. PCIe 4.0 and Thunderbolt limits
The primary x16 slot and the first M.2 socket run at PCIe 4.0 x4 when a Ryzen 5000 or 3000 Series CPU is installed; with a 4000 G-Series chip they drop to PCIe 3.0 speeds. The second x16 slot is wired for PCIe 3.0 x4 and shares bandwidth with the Thunderbolt 4 controller, so populating that slot disables Thunderbolt video output. Two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots also share lanes with the second M.2 socket.
