240 mm liquid cooler for mainstream builds

The COUGAR Poseidon Elite ARGB White 240 is a closed-loop liquid cooler with a 240 mm aluminium radiator and two 120 mm PWM fans. It fits AMD sockets from AM2 through AM5 and Intel sockets from LGA 1150 through LGA 1700. The copper cold plate and 400 mm tubing suit standard mid-tower cases. White finish and 5 V 3-pin ARGB lighting match light-themed builds.

62.53 CFM airflow at 2200 RPM

The dual 120 mm fans spin between 500 and 2200 RPM, delivering up to 62.53 CFM and 2.4 mmH2O static pressure. At maximum speed the noise reaches 33.5 dB(A), which is audible in a quiet room. The pump runs from the same 4-pin PWM header, so fan and pump curves stay synchronised. Thermal headroom is adequate for mid-range CPUs at stock or modest overclocks; sustained heavy loads on high-core-count chips will push coolant temperatures higher.

PWM control and 5 V ARGB need compatible headers

Fan and pump connect through a 2510 4-pin PWM header, requiring a motherboard header that supplies PWM control and sufficient current. The ARGB lighting uses a 5 V 3-pin connector, so a 12 V 4-pin RGB header will not work. Builders without a 5 V ARGB header cannot control the lighting effects. The 400 mm tube length limits placement in oversized or unconventional chassis layouts.
