Magnetic Daisy-Chain Upgrade

The patented 7-pin magnetic splice replaces traditional PWM and ARGB cables, letting each fan snap to the next for a single motherboard connection. Builders moving from separate 4-pin and 3-pin headers gain cleaner routing and fewer occupied headers. The jump is worth it when case space is tight or when a uniform lighting loop across three fans is preferred over individual strips.

5 V ARGB Header Limit

Lighting sync works only with 5 V 3-pin ARGB headers — ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion and ASRock Polychrome RGB — and must not be plugged into 12 V RGB headers. The 4-pin PWM connector handles speed automatically, but the ARGB signal cannot pass through older 4-pin RGB controllers. Users without a compatible 5 V header will need a separate controller to activate the 16.8 million colour effects.
