Dual Xeon Gold 6142 1U server

This 1U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6142 processors, each running at 2.6 GHz with 16 cores. It targets dense scale-out workloads such as virtualization clusters, database nodes and high-performance compute farms. The system is sold new and includes rails and a front bezel for immediate rack integration.

128 GB DDR4 with 3 TB headroom

Eight 16 GB DDR4 registered ECC modules populate eight of the 24 DIMM slots, leaving 16 slots open for expansion up to the 3 TB maximum. Storage is handled by a PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache driving eight 800 GB SATA SSDs in the 2.5-inch bays, supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

Dual 750 W PSUs and quad-port networking

Redundant hot-swap 750 W platinum power supplies keep the platform running during a single-unit failure. A quad-port daughter card provides two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ links, while iDRAC9 Enterprise gives full out-of-band remote management. The LGA 3647 sockets and C620 chipset are already at their two-processor limit, so CPU upgrades are not possible.
