Air moves front-to-rear across the 10 drive bays and the CPU heatsinks, keeping thermals steady under sustained utilisation. Fan speeds adjust automatically to balance cooling and acoustic output in a data-centre aisle.

Tool-less rails and integrated management

Ready Rails let the 1U chassis slide into a standard rack without screws, and the front bezel snaps on for a clean face. The PERC H745 controller with 4 GB NV cache manages the ten 2.5-inch SAS/SATA bays in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 or 60. iDRAC9 Enterprise provides out-of-band monitoring, remote console and firmware updates over a dedicated port. Builders who need NVMe U.2/U.3 or GPU acceleration must select a different chassis.
