It ships with dual Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 processors running at 2.60 GHz with 3.4 GHz turbo, providing 16 total cores. The system includes 64 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz registered ECC memory across four 16 GB modules. Dual 750 W platinum power supplies and iDRAC8 Enterprise remote management come installed.

Suits Virtualisation and Database Nodes

The eight 2.5-inch drive bays and PERC H730 RAID controller support SAS and SATA drives with RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Quad-port networking delivers two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ connections for high-throughput traffic.
