This 2U rack server ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2650v3 ten-core processor running at 2.3 GHz and 128 GB of DDR4 memory installed across 24 DIMM slots. It targets workloads that need dense compute and large memory capacity in a standard rack footprint. The integrated PERC H330 controller handles RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60 for local storage arrays.

Verify that your rack can supply two 750 W redundant hot-swap power supplies and that the 26.8-inch depth fits your cabinet with cable clearance. The system includes a rail kit and a DVD-ROM drive. Networking defaults to a four-port 1 GbE daughter card; optional 10 GbE NDC cards are not installed. No drives or trays are included, so source 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives separately.

Expands with PCIe 3.0 and memory headroom

Seven PCIe 3.0 slots plus a dedicated PERC slot provide room for additional NICs, HBAs or accelerators.
