A single Intel Xeon E5-2650 v3 processor with ten cores running at 2.3 GHz delivers 20 threads through hyper-threading. The system ships with 48 GB of DDR4 memory installed across 24 DIMM slots, leaving room for expansion up to the platform maximum.

H730 RAID controller and three enterprise drives

A Dell PERC H730 controller with 1 GB cache and 12 Gbps SAS connectivity manages storage, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Three Dell 1 TB 7.2 K RPM enterprise SATA drives are included, installed in trays and ready for immediate array creation. The DVD-ROM drive adds basic optical media support for installation or recovery tasks.

Redundant power and remote management

Dual 750 W hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy to keep the server running if one unit fails.
